--Summer 2008's Big Dos & Don'ts!--

Cool, classic khakis: a Do
Yup, khakis can be trendy! Love 'em with the gold accessories,
like these safari-style Dos.
We love long dresses
Mini, schmini! To-the-floor maxi dresses are a chic daytime Do.
Just remember: Gingham will look nightgowny, like a circa-1890 Don't.

Do wear your opinion!
Wearing the flag or taking a stand--it's a Do this year
no matter what your politics or party.

Do invest in a dress that'll take you straight from the office to happy hour.

Everybody's got 'em: face tees
This year, stars are all about wearing their favorite celebs. And that's a Do. But when you are your favorite celeb? You guessed it:
a Don't!

Craaazy cleavage Don'ts!
Squeeezing into--or spilling out of--a too-tight, too-teeny top?
Always a Don't. It just looks painful!

Shorts! Shorts! Shorts!
Return of the under-bum!
Great butt or not, these popular itty-bitty disco numbers are a
triple-X Don't.
Why-bother shorts
The unzipped, falling-down look started on teenage boys--and you know what?
They can keep it! Don't!
Bare-it-all bikini bottoms
Your votes are in: Even on the best tushes,
these dental floss bottoms are a D-O-N'-T!

Mini shorts with boots
We realize that no one's paying attention to her footwear--but,
still, boots with hot pants? It's a Don't, you voted.

"Trading on equities market fails to resume at 2.30pm."

KUALA LUMPUR: Equities trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities did not resume trading at 2.30pm as notified earlier by the stock exchange.
Bursa Securities said Thursday the stock exchange would continue with the notifications to the market as soon as it has any updates.

In a statement earlier Thursday, Bursa said, "Bursa Malaysia is investigating the problem that caused the trading system failure this morning at its primary site and is working towards resuming trading from the primary site as soon as possible".

In a separate statement, the Securities Commission (SC) said it had been in close communication with Bursa Malaysia following the technical failure in the trading system that led to the closure of the stockmarket from 9am to 12.30pm.
The SC said it would continue to monitor developments closely in order for market integrity to be maintained at all times.
