--D.R.E.A.M.E.R--

Ben Crane (Kurt Russell) believes that a severely injured racehorse deserves another chance. He and his daughter Cale (Dakota Fanning) adopt the horse (in fact is a mare) and save it of being sacrificed by the owner (David Morse). The arrival of the mare to Crane's farm, will be the perfect opportunity for both father and daughter to reconstruct their lost familiar bond. "Soñador" (Dreamer in English), the renamed mare, despite its broken leg, maybe could have another chance to return to the racecourse, with the help of Cale, Ben, and his father, Pop (Kris Kristofferson).

~Written by Alejandro Frias

In Lexington, Kentucky, the horse barn of the family Crane has been empty for years, without any horses, due to the financial difficulties of the family. When the female horse Sonya, a.k.a. Sonador (Dreamer, in English) breaks one foreleg in a race, the owner Palmer decides to sacrifice the animal, but Ben Crane accepts the injured horse as part of three months salaries owed by Palmer. His daughter Cale becomes very connected with Sonya, and while the horse is rehabilitated, the wounds in the Crane family are also healed.

--You Survived... doesnt Mean is O.V.E.R....--

I sit crying
Looking through the dirty window to the sand on the ground.
I won't admit anything...even though she now knows everything.
Suddenly I think, NO more lying...
I scream out my confession...she already knows
~
My icicle tears fall to my hands
She's known what I do to myself for years now..and hasn't said a word
She begs to see my scars...and I cry and beg for her not to want to
I am more than ashamed
The shimmer in my tears is the only thing I have left
~
And now what happens?
When the stars won't come outside
When the moon is hidden behind
your father screaming at you for what you've done
Saying that you should "stop the bullshit attention getter and get your lifeback together" Another remark from your dad's once loving lips
~
The tears flow now as fast as my blood does
And I'll just go sit and cry in the rain
And wait for you to care for me.......
~
And I'll ignore my own cries
and watch myself die
I hold back my silver tears
From my silver friend
~
I've now revealed it all and I have nothing more to hide
I now have entered the stars
They invite me to join the mascarade
They have to celebrate me
That I told the purple truth
~
So sick of lying I'll stare and maybe smile
Into my rose colored night
~
~~I've survived my life~~
~~I've survived my love~~
~
But I haven't recovered from the silver friend
Becuase i'm drowning in my old silver tears

--Juz A Little bit more and I will be there... So Please! Dont pull me back! Thank You!--

One thing can’t be denied about depression,
It wounds to our souls, yielding no concession.
Though our tears freely flow, pouring like rain,
It has no compassion, but increases our pain.
When our souls are overcome with grief,
~
We withdraw to our rooms, but there is no relief.
Though we’re knocked down, tread upon, beaten, and floored,
Depression injects pain that cannot be ignored.
When we’re abandoned, betrayed, and dumped by the wayside,
Depression consumes us, as if by a landslide.
~
It comes not as a tale, nor as a myth,
It’s a force that demands to be reckoned with.
When the pain from our loss refuses to be brief,
We must enter into the process of grief.
~
A necessary process, through which we must travel,
We may pray that we die as our minds unravel.
How could others inflict pain, so impaling and heated,
When we treated them as we wanted to be treated?
~
Though we struggle along, drawing strength reserved,
The pain hurts even more when it’s undeserved.
Then when life becomes too torturous to bear,
Insight comes from a Power, who really does care.
~
He comforts me and puts my mind at ease,
When I remember I’ve survived things worse than these.
And if not, I’ll consider the plight of another,
One who’s lost a child, father, or mother.
~
Or a child in a wheelchair, watching others at play,
“What’s fair about this”, to himself he must say.
When depression devours, I’ll stand back and see,
That so many others are worse off than me.
~
But they still carry on, to grow and thrive,
It’s then that I know, I will also survive.

--Mahatma Gandhi--

Gandhi, Mohandas Karamchand (1869-1948), Indian thinker, statesman, and nationalist leader who led India out of the British Empire. Gandhi, also known as Mahatma Gandhi, was born in Porbandar, in the modern state of Gujarat, on October 2, 1869, into a political Hindu family, both his father and grandfather having been prime ministers to the rulers of two adjacent and tiny princely states. After a mediocre career at school, he went to London in 1888 to train as a lawyer, leaving behind his young and illiterate wife, whom he had married when she was barely in her teens. Gandhi qualified as a barrister three years later and returned to India.

--I WILL!!!!..... Be FREE From ME and ALL--

There will come a day my friend
when time will seem to stand still
opening new gates of opportunities
for all those goals you spent
countless hours pondering over
and to achieve all you have
not yet discovered

There will come a day my friend
when thinking of your life
will bring happiness and hope
for whatever unknown lies ahead
and you will hold within your heart
the feeling you have longed for
and belief that you have
lived the days of your life
to their fullest

There will come a day my friend
when distress and pain
will become nothing more than
fancy pictures held captive
within the frame of your mind
within your reach and control

There will come a day my friend
when people will see
beyond the past
that now clouds their vision
into the innocent eyes
of a caring person
and listen with a nonjudgmental ear
to the truth that has
been so blankly distorted
in time sore wounds will heal
and contentment will fill
the empty gaps in your spirit with sweet serenity
mending all that has been tattered

Because I know my friend
There will come a day....

--Split Brain Experiments--

In the early 1960s, after experimenting on animal brains, neurosurgeons discovered that life-threatening cases of epilepsy could be treated by slicing through the part of the brain that connects the left and right hemispheres.

Patients could be cured of their seizures, but the two halves of the brain now operated independently, each with its own separate mental processes.

It was discovered that each half of the brain controls the opposite half of the body and that they each draw sensory input from one eye and one ear.

Generally, only one side of the brain has a good understanding of language and will have the ability to speak and write. In 95% of right handed people and 70% of left handed people, this will be the left side of the brain. By directing questions to this half of the brain, it was discovered that language skills are vital for logical and analytical thought processes.

The other side of the brain, usually the right side, specializes instead on interpreting visual imagery. It is also better at comprehending emotions. By directing questions to this half, it was discovered that understanding visual imagery was vital for conceptualizing how things work.

While the language dominant side of the brain focused on specific details, the visually dominant side of the brain was much better at seeing the whole picture.

In a few split-brain patients, both halves had a good understanding of language. In other cases, the mute half adapted over time by learning better language skills.

--ALL OUT OF LOVE--

I'm lying alone

With my head on the phone

Thinking of you till it hurts

I know you're hurt too

But what else can we do?

Tormented and torn apart

I wish I could carry

Your smile and my heart

For times when my life seems so low

It would make me believe

What tomorrow could bring

When today doesn't really know,

Doesn't really know

~~~~~~~~~~~~Chorus:
I'm all out of love,
I'm so lost without you
I know you were right
Believing for so long
I'm all out of love,
What am I without you
I can't be too late
To say that I was so wrong
~
I want you to come back
And carry me home
Away from this long lonely nights
I'm reaching for you,
Are you feeling it too
Does the feeling seem oh so right
And what would you say
If I called on you now
And said that I can't hold on
There's no easy way,
It gets harder each day
Please love me or I'll be gone,
I'll be gone
~
Oh, what are you thinking of?
What are you thinking of?
Oh, what are you thinking of?
What are you thinking of?
Air Supply consists of the duo of vocalists Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell, as well as several backing musicians.
Hitchcock and Russell met while performing in a Sydney, Australia production of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1976. The two singers formed a partnership and with the addition of four supporting musicians -- keyboardist Frank Esler-Smith, guitarist David Moyse, bassist David Green, and drummer Ralph Cooper -- and Air Supply was born.......
--Soichiro's dream--
Now, don’t get me wrong. The second generation of Honda’s FCX is likely the most advanced fuel-cell car yet — a sleek sedan that drives as well as it looks. Like fuel-cell cars from GM, Ford, Toyota and others, the Honda carries a tank of compressed hydrogen onboard, which mixes with oxygen from the air in a chemical reaction. The result is enough electricity to cover 280 miles on a tank, with heat and water vapor as the only by-products — not a trace of tailpipe pollution.
He talks to me softly he wants me dead.
He tells me this time I'll stay in control.
He tells me how wonderful I will feel.
Hope abides; therefore I abide.
~When you are feeling alone like no one cares, read this cuz its absolutely true: Every night, someone thinks about you before they go to sleep. At least fifteen people in this world love you. The only reason someone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you. There are at least two people in this world that would die for you. You mean the world to someone. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look. Always remember the compliments you've received. Forget the rude remarks. So if you are a loving person, send this to everyone on your list including the person the person who sent it too you..........
--Craving For Freedoms--
When a man starts out with nothing,
When a man starts out with his hands
~
Started Empty, but clean,
~
When a man starts to build a world,
He starts first with himself
And the faith that is in his heart-
The strength there,
The will there to build.
~
First in the heart is the dream-
Then the mind starts seeking a way.
His eyes look out on the world,
On the great wooded world,
On the rich soil of the world,
On the rivers of the world.
~
The eyes see there materials for building,
See the difficulties, too, and the obstacles.
The mind seeks a way to overcome these obstacles.
The hand seeks tools to cut the wood,
To till the soil, and harness the power of the waters.
~
Then the hand seeks other hands to help,
A community of hands to help-
Thus the dream becomes not one man’s dream alone,
But a community dream.
Not my dream alone, but our dream.
~
Not my world alone,
But your world and my world,
Belonging to all the hands who build.....
--Left & Right Control--
We'll keep this light and uncomplicated. Our brain, like the rest of our anatomy, is made up of two halves, a left brain a right brain. There's a big fold that goes from front to back in our brain, essentially dividing it into two distinct and separate parts. Well, almost separate. They are connected to each other by a thick cable of nerves at the base of each brain. This sole link between the two giant processors is called the corpus collosum. Think of it as an Ethernet cable or network connection between two incredibly fast and immensely powerful computer processors, each running different programs from the same input.
The left side of our body is "wired" to the right side of our brain, and vice versa. For whatever reason nature did this cross-over, it applies even to our eyes, which process a majority of their sensory data on opposite sides of the brain.
We can thank Nobel Prize Winner (1981) Roger Sperry for this next contribution. Sperry conducted what are sometimes called the "split-brain" experiments. Here's how it went: A patient suffering from uncontrolled seizures had an area of his brain removed by surgery in an attempt to control his illness. This area just happened to be the corpus collosum, which was suspected of having developed lesions (short circuits).
Following his surgery, Sperry's patient seemed completely normal -- almost. A series of tests were conducted where each "half" of the patient was isolated from the other. Different visual and tactile information could then be presented to the patient's left or right side, without the other side knowing. The results were astounding.
