--Will You......?--
I don't think you could ever know
that even on the darkest nights
you are my brightest star.
I don't think you will ever fully comprehend
or how you've opened my heart
to love and the wonders it can do.
You've allowed me to experience
unconditional love that exists
in my body, soul, and mind.
~
I don't think you could ever feel
all the love I have to give
and I'm sure you'll never realize
you've been my will to live.
~
You are an amazing person
and without you I don't know where I'd be.
Having you in my life
completes and fulfills every part of me.....
--Boeing 797 Giant "Blended Wing" Passenger Airliner--

The story says that the Boeing Company is developing a radical new passenger jetliner that will carry 1,000 passengers. It's designated the 797 and is a "blended wing" design looking a lot like the old flying wing experiments of the 50's.
~
What is true, according to Boeing, is that Boeing Phantom Works, the company's advanced research and development organization, is doing research on the blended wing body design as a potential military aircraft. Boeing has built a scale model to test its low-speed flying characteristics in a wind tunnel. There are also plans (as of 7/13/07) to flight test a scale model.

--International Women's Day 2010--
International Women's Day (IWD) is marked on the 8th of March every year. It is a major day of global celebration of women. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.~
Started as a Socialist political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries, primarily Eastern Europe, Russia, and the former Soviet bloc. In many regions, the day lost its political flavour, and became simply an occasion for men to express their love for women in a way somewhat similar to a mixture of Mother's Day and St Valentine's Day. In other regions, however, the original political and human rights theme designated by the United Nations runs strong, and political and social awareness of the struggles of women worldwide are brought out and examined in a hopeful manner.

--John Lennon 1940~1980--

John Winston Ono Lennon, MBE (9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980) was an English rock musician, singer-songwriter, author, and peace activist who gained worldwide fame as one of the founding members of The Beatles. With Paul McCartney, Lennon formed one of the most influential and successful songwriting partnerships of the 20th century and "wrote some of the most popular music in rock and roll history". The second most successful songwriter in Billboard singles chart history after McCartney, Lennon was responsible for 27 number one singles on the U.S. Hot 100 chart as a performer or songwriter.
~
Lennon revealed a rebellious nature and an acerbic wit in his music, his writing, on film and at press conferences and interviews. He was controversial through his work as a peace activist and visual artist, along with his wife Yoko Ono. After The Beatles broke up in 1970, Lennon enjoyed a commercially successful and critically acclaimed solo career, selling 14 million RIAA certified albums in the US alone, with albums such as John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band and Imagine and iconic songs such as "Give Peace a Chance" and "Imagine".
~
After a self-imposed "retirement" in 1975 to raise his son Sean, Lennon reemerged in 1980 with a comeback album, Double Fantasy, but was murdered less than one month after its release. The album won the 1981 Grammy Award for Album of the Year and is Lennon's best-selling studio album at three million shipments in the US.~
In 2002, respondents to a BBC poll on the 100 Greatest Britons voted Lennon eighth. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked Lennon #38 on its list of "The Immortals: The Fifty Greatest Artists of All Time" (The Beatles were ranked number one). He was also ranked fifth greatest singer of all time by Rolling Stone in 2008. He was posthumously inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.

--I Who Have Nothing~ Tom Jones (1974)--
"I (Who Have Nothing)" (sometimes billed as "I Who Have Nothing") is a song originally released by Ben E. King in 1963.
"I (Who Have Nothing)" is based on the Italian song "Uno dei tanti," (English: "One of Many") with music by Carlo Donida and lyrics by Giulio "Mogol" Rapetti. "Uno dei tanti" was released by Joe Sentieri in 1961. The lyrics for "I (Who Have Nothing)" were translated into English by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. Some critics believe that part of this song's melody was later copied for "Nights in White Satin," released by the Moody Blues in 1967.
