清明節的習俗在中國南方和北方地區的規模、方式不盡相同。民間還有插戴柳枝、放風箏、取薪火、畫蛋、鬥雞、盪鞦韆等活動。此習俗也流行於白族、苗族、蒙古族、納西族等少數民族。在越南、韓國、琉球等 地，清明節也是重要的節日。
