MacGyver is an American adventure television series, produced in the United States and Canada, about the laid-back, extremely resourceful secret agent MacGyver, played by Richard Dean Anderson. The series was created by Lee David Zlotoff and executive produced by Henry Winkler and John Rich. Film locations included Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and Southern California, California, United States of America.It ran for seven seasons from September 29, 1985 to May 21, 1992 on the ABC network. 139 fifty-minute-long episodes were produced, including three with two parts. Additionally, two made-for-television movies were produced in 1994.
