--A GOOD TALK--

A man decides to hunt

for fur against the cold.

He knows how to confront

surprises that trails unfold.

At dusk he finds a cave

to spend the night and stay

alive and also save

his strengh to hunt his prey.

~

A bear comes out to spy

and understands it should

protect its fur and try

somehow to get its food.

~

Before they start to fight

the wily bear pleads

for peace and for the right

to talk about their needs.

~

The hunter trusts the bear,

and to the cave they walk,

each one to get the share

won in a simple talk.
