PHNOM PENH - More than 800 government officials, business executives, international institution representatives, and academia from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) gathered on Saturday to discuss ways to broaden business and investment opportunities in the ten-nation bloc.
Speaking at the opening of the 10th ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2012, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Chair of ASEAN in 2012, said that the Summit was a good opportunity to discuss and strengthen cooperation and partnership between the governments and private sectors in order to promote business and investment in industries.
He said that ASEAN has been playing a more important role in the region and the world and the bloc's economies grew well in recent years despite the impacts of economic and financial crisis in Europe and the United States.
The premier also urged ASEAN to expedite efforts to deepen regional integration toward building an ASEAN community by 2015.
Speaking on the business and investment climate in Cambodia, Hun Sen said, situated in the Greater Mekong Sub-region and ASEAN, Cambodia is an integral part of the process of creating one of the world's largest consumer markets, which will enable all of Southeast Asia to enter a new era of cooperation and prosperity to the benefit of societies.
"Moreover, Cambodia has a incentive policy and preferential atmosphere for businessmen and investors, so I'd like to appeal to private sector to come to Cambodia for exploring investment possibilities," he said.
He believed that the two-day Summit would produce fruitful results in making better the business and investment opportunities in ASEAN and Cambodia.
Cambodia's Minister of Commerce Cham Prasidh said that over the course of two days, there would be a business-to-business dialogue, a governments-to-business dialogue and international organizations, governments to business dialogue, back to back with the 21st ASEAN Summit in Phnom Penh.
"The Summit will certainly add a significant dimension to the ASEAN Summit as it will provide a platform for leaders and ministers to directly engage with business leaders, and for business leaders to be better informed about the policy agenda and to profile their interests," he said.
Kith Meng, president of Cambodia's Chamber of Commerce and chair of ASEAN Business Advisory Council in 2012, said that this was the first time the Business Summit has been held in Cambodia and it was also the right time for businessmen to explore Cambodia, a country of pro-business policy and economic stability with the annual growth rate of 7.1 percent last year and a projected growth of 7 percent this year.
"The Summit aims at promoting private sector growth in one of the most prosperous region in the world, as well as socializing the dreams of an ASEAN Economic Community by 2015," he said.
The Summit will look into the four of the most crucial areas that will determine the future of ASEAN businesses, he said. Those are the potential of renewable energy in ASEAN, capitalizing ASEAN connectivity, accessing capital for growth and innovation.
Kith Meng said ASEAN sits at the very heart of Asia. If ASEAN were a single country, it would be the 9th largest economy in the world, with close 10 percent, or 600 million, of the world's population, with a combined GDP of $1.9 trillion.
"ASEAN is both a market for the developed world's products and the location of their production facilities," he said.
Founded in 1967, ASEAN groups Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

--Day 39th Never Give Up Fighting!--
When you feel so gloomy
And the world feels swampy
When you are all alone
There’s nothing to do but moan
Don’t ever give up
Don’t ever break up
You have the power to fight the bad
You’ve the power to win so never be sad
Life is never the same
It’s just a long game
A game that keeps changing
And so it keeps rearranging
It is a wheel that keeps spinning
From darkness to light it keeps circling
You must remember like after every night we’ve the day
After sadness we always have joy in the same way
Darkness & the sad night doesn’t stay forever
There will be light cause life isn’t always bitter
So don’t worry cause this is the cycle of life my dear
You will surely achieve victory after every tear
This is the truth that life is very versatile
Life will change, you needn’t change your style
You are unique never change the way you are
Never give up & remember no goal is too far

--Morning..--
Just a note to say hello
before I start my day
couldn't help but drop a line
to my friend so far away
As I sip my fresh brewed coffee
thoughts of you have crossed my mind
so I'm sending morning greetings
with hopes your day is fine
Today is filled with sunshine
like the friendship we two share
my day will be just dandy
I'll pretend that I am there....

--Confucius (551–479 BC)--
1. Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
2. Ignorance is the night of the mind, but a night without moon and star.
3. It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.
4. Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do.
5. What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others.
6. They must often change who would be constant in happiness or wisdom.
7. I am not one who was born in the possession of knowledge; I am one who is fond of antiquity, and earnest in seeking it there.
8. If a man takes no thought about what is distant, he will find sorrow near at hand.
9. Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous.
10. Recompense injury with justice, and recompense kindness with kindness.
11. The cautious seldom err.
12. The superior man cannot be known in little matters, but he may be
entrusted with great concerns. The small man may not be entrusted with
great concerns, but he may be known in little matters.
13. The superior man is modest in his speech, but exceeds in his actions.
14. Things that are done, it is needless to speak about…things that are past, it is needless to blame.
15. Virtue is not left to stand alone. He who practices it will have neighbors.
16. What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.
17. When you know a thing, to hold that you know it; and when you do
not know a thing, to allow that you do not know it – this is knowledge.
18. With coarse rice to eat, with water to drink, and my bended arm
for a pillow – I have still joy in the midst of these things. Riches and
honors acquired by unrighteousness are to me as a floating cloud.
19. Without an acquaintance with the rules of propriety, it is impossible for the character to be established.
20. To go beyond is as wrong as to fall short.

--Risen From Hell--
I’m not dead
I was in hell
Before too long
I began to burn
My heart cold as ice
Slowly running out of the numbness
That protected my partial sanity
I’m dying inside
I can’t fight this pain
Nothing to numb
This ache of mine
It’s too much to bear
I’m afraid to watch me burn
My eyes weakened
Relying on my senses
I could hear the crackling
Of my internal fire
The smell of the dense smoke
Filled the air
Left with only my soul
To pick and weave through
I’m dying inside
I can’t fight this pain
Nothing to numb
This ache of mine
It’s too much to bear
I’m afraid to watch me burn
The emotions
Flooding my veins with poison
Turning my blood black and cold
It was now or never
Slowly burn and blow away
Or
Rise from this hell of mine
It won’t beat me
I haven’t fulfilled my purposes
It took too long
Before I rose to the surface
I’m dying inside
I can’t fight this pain
The numbness is harsh and sour
It sickens me
I won’t let me burn
My sight restores
The sun so bright
The air so crisp
I dive into the smooth serene water
It feels so heavenly
On my freshly burned scars
Soaking it all in
I had almost forgotten
How much beauty this planet held
What I left behind
Is free of my newly reclaimed skin
It will never be disdained
I’m not dead!
I’ve risen from my depths
Ready to take back
What I once had
It was now or never
Slowly burn or rise!!
I was in hell

Praying and thinking for whatever comes
Hope gives us the courage to strive
Hope makes us continue our lives
Hope gives us pride
Don't stop praying for hope
Live each day ecstatic
Live each day thankful
Live each day loving someone
Live each day loving yourself
Live each day calmly
Live each day as if it were your last
Live one day at a time
Open your hearts and minds so God can lead you
Let God help you
Let God love you

There's magic in a Mother's touch,

Her laughter is a source of joy,
her works are warm and wise.
There is a kindness and compassion
to be found in her embrace,
and we see the light of heaven
shining from a Mother's face.....

--Robert F. Kennedy’s wife Mary Kennedy dead at 52--
Mary Kennedy, ex-wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., was found dead at her New York home Wednesday, a source told the Associated Press.
Kerry Lawrence, an attorney, confirmed her death, but did not know the cause.
The Bedford, N.Y. police
department said that at approximately 1:36 p.m. they responded to a call
about a deceased individual found at the Kennedys' home. They
are investigating an "unattended death."
A spokesperson for Mary Kennedy's family released a statement,
saying, "We deeply regret the death of our beloved sister Mary, whose
radiant and creative spirit will be sorely missed by those who loved
her. Our heart goes out to her children who she loved without
reservation. We have no further comment at this time."
After 16 years of marriage,
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. filed for divorce from Mary Kennedy in May 2010.
They have four children, and Mary Kennedy is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s
second wife.
Mary Kennedy struggled with drug
and alcohol problems, according to the AP. She was charged with driving
under the influence of drugs, and her license was also suspended for
driving under the influence of alcohol. Both incidents happened around
the time of her divorce.
An unnamed source told Radaronline.com that Mary committed suicide. That information has not been confirmed.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is
reportedly currently dating actress Cheryl Hines. He is the son of
former Sen. Robert Kennedy and the nephew of former President John F.
Kennedy.

--Frank Knight and "Herbie-The Tallast elm tree in the world"--
103-year-old man to be buried in coffin made from tree he fought for decades to protect.
Frank Knight was a professional
logger but earned his true legacy spending decades protecting New
England's tallest elm tree. But as all things must, the 217-year-old
tree nicknamed "Herbie" eventually succumbed to Dutch elm disease. And
over the weekend, 103-year-old Knight died as well.
But as a final tribute to this unique relationship between man and nature, Knight will be buried in a special casket carved from the 110-foot-tall tree that first sprouted in 1793.
"To have them together like that
is a wonderful thing. I feel like Frank took good care of Herbie. Now
Herbie will take good care of Frank," Deb Hopkins, a close friend of
Knight's, told the Associated Press.
Back in 1956, Knight became the
unofficial "tree warden" in Yarmouth, located about 10 miles north of
Portland, Maine. At the time, Dutch elm disease was wreaking havoc on
the local elm tree population. Even after Herbie became infected, Knight
had local workers selectively prune the tree's diseased limbs. Over the
years, the tree reportedly survived 14 cases of Dutch elm disease
thanks to Knight and the workers.
But in January 2010, the
110-foot-tall tree, whose canopy could reportedly be seen for miles,
finally collapsed. "His time has come," Knight told The Associated Press
at the time. "And mine is about due, too."
"Frank cared for Herbie for 52 years, and now Herbie will care for Frank forever," his son, Dick Knight, told the Boston Herald.
Over the years, Knight worked to
protect other local trees as well, though his works will forever be tied
to the relationship he had with Herbie. After the tree fell, its wood
was used to make several items, including an electric guitar. Knight did
not know that some of Herbie's wood was being set aside for his coffin,
designed by local custom furniture maker Chris Becksvoort.
Over the years, Knight and Herbie
became something of a legend, with people traveling from around the
world to take their picture with the famous tree.
"It wasn't just the tree. It
wasn't just Frank. It's almost like a little love story," said Jan Ames
Santerre, urban forestry program coordinator for the Maine Forest
Service. "He saw that tree and he knew he wanted to save it."

--Happy Birthday Che! The "Freedom Fighter"--
Ernesto Che Guevara's birth
happened under a garb of ambiguity. Guevara's birth certificate records
his birthday as June 14, 1928. His real birth date was on May 14, 1928.
In a way this typified the way Che spent most of his adult life.
The birth certificate was doctored because the family wanted to protect Che's mother from scandal that would come about due to her being pregnant at the time of her marriage.
Che was born in Rosario, Argentina. He was the eldest of his 4 siblings. Che is a nickname that was acquired when Guevara was studying. It means "mate" or "friend" in South America. Che studied medicine in the University of Buenos Aires. He completed his studies in 1953.

Elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis (having lost
touch with reality due to confusion and memory loss) treated with this
type of medicine are at an increased risk of death, compared to placebo
(sugar pill). Seroquel XR and Seroquel are not approved for treating these patients.
Antidepressants have increased the risk of suicidal thoughts and actions in some children, teenagers, and young adults. Patients of all ages starting treatment should be watched closely for worsening of depression, suicidal thoughts or actions, unusual changes in behavior, agitation, and irritability. Patients, families, and caregivers should pay close attention to any changes, especially sudden changes in mood, behaviors, thoughts, or feelings. This is very important when an antidepressant medicine is started or when the dose is changed. Report any change in these symptoms immediately to the doctor. Seroquel XR is not approved for patients under the age of 18 years. Seroquel is not approved for patients under the age of 10 years.

--I Dont need it Doctors and please to be more Understanding--
Depression
Depression (also known as major depressive disorder) is a
serious, recurrent condition that can be challenging to manage. In fact,
your symptoms may not be limited to just one episode and may remain
without the right treatment plan. Symptoms that remain after initial
antidepressant treatment are known as "unresolved symptoms."
If you have unresolved symptoms of depression, you may need more than
one medication to help manage your condition. If you’ve taken an
antidepressant for 6 weeks or more and still have symptoms of
depression, talk to your doctor. He or she may decide to adjust your
treatment plan and consider adding a medication like Seroquel XR to help you treat your depression.
Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar disorder is a lifelong condition that can affect both how you feel and how you act.
Bipolar disorder is thought to be caused by chemical imbalances
in the brain that can result in extreme swings in mood—from manic highs
to depressive lows. These imbalances are believed to lead to the
symptoms that you experience with bipolar disorder. To be diagnosed with
bipolar disorder, you must have experienced a high period (mania).
Bipolar mania is described as an "extreme high," or feeling unusually
great. The good news is that there are clinically proven bipolar
disorder treatment options available that may help. Your doctor can help you find a treatment plan that works for you.

--'First of May' (1998~2012)--
Karel Hynek Mácha: Máj (May)
Beginning verses, translation by Edith Pargeter
Byl pozdní večer
- první máj -
večerní máj - byl lásky čas.
Hrdliččin zval ku lásce hlas,
kde borový zaváněl háj.
O lásce šeptal tichý mech;
květoucí strom lhal lásky žel,
svou lásku slavík růži pěl,
růžinu jevil vonný vzdech.
Jezero hladké v křovích stinných
zvučelo temně tajný bol,
břeh objímal je kol a kol;
a slunce jasná světů jiných
bloudila blankytnými pásky,
planoucí tam co slzy lásky.

Late evening,
on the first of May -
The twilit May - the time of love.
Meltingly called the turtle-dove,
Where rich and sweet pinewoods lay.
Whispered of love the mosses trail,
The flowering tree as sweetly lied,
The rose's fragrant sigh replied
To love-songs of the nightingale.
In shadowy woods the burnished lake
Darkly complained a secret pain,
By circling shores embraced again;
And heaven's clear sun leaned down to take
A road astray in azure deeps,
Like burning tears the lover weeps.

--Whitney Elizabeth Houston (August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012)--
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2010, she said by the time The Preacher's Wife was released, '(doing drugs) was an everyday thing. ... I would do my work, but after I did my work, for a whole year or two, it was every day. ... I wasn't happy by that point in time. I was losing myself.'
In the interview, Houston blamed her rocky marriage to Brown, which included a charge of domestic abuse against Brown in 1993. They divorced in 2007.
Houston would go to rehab twice before she would declare herself drug-free to Winfrey in 2010.
